• Two 12mm thick tungsten carbide tipped tines are mounted on each set of parallel arms. The independent arms have a hydraulic ram to lift and lower the tines and apply an adjustable hydraulic force to allow the tines to penetrate the soil. This force also works on the depth controlling press wheels to firm the soil around the seed and leave a level surface.
  • There is a choice between two types of packer wheel that follow the tines to set the depth:
    • A pair of Guttler wheels(as pictured above), ideal in heavy to medium soils as they are self cleaning and apply some cultivation to the surface.
    • A semi pneumatic flexi rubber wheel, ideal in lighter soils as it gives a larger surface area and packs the soil behind both tines.
  • Quick and accurate threaded depth adjuster on each pair of tines
  • RDS control system with an electronic motor, driving Accord metering units is fitted as standard giving accurate seed placement, which is easy to calibrate and allows the seed rate to be changed on the move.
  • The drill’s relatively light weight and the two 710mm wide land wheels fitted with Michelin XBIB tyres at the rear allow low ground pressures of 6 PSI (0.4bar) when drilling, to minimise the effects of compaction, allowing you to drill in wet conditions when many competitor drills wouldn’t be able to travel!
  • The only direct drill on the market to offer 12.5cm row spacing. This can be easily adjusted to wider row spacing when required.
