Tine assemblies are mounted on a parallel linkage, which keep all four tines and press wheels on the ground, the assemblies are free to float vertically and radially so that they accurately follow ground contours. A hydraulic ram provides an adjustable pressure to give penetration of the tines and the required packing by the press wheels.
One threaded adjuster sets the depth for all the tines of each assembly and the top link on the main frame ensures the same depth between front and back tines an all assemblies. Patent applied for.

For direct drilling through the straw and stubble of the previous crop, the unique arrangement of the press wheels helps to trap the straw against the ground and prevents trash building up around the tines.

Seed and fertilizer can be applied with the dual coulter tubes, the front tube putes fertilizer deeper into the groove created by the tine. As the soil closes over the fertilizer, the seed is placed in a band above.
Available in 20, 25 or 27.5cm row widths. Seed can be banded to give more even coverage of the ground. Low draught tines are 12mm (1/2") thick, so are very easy to pull through the soil. Hard wearing boron steel tines have tungstun carbide tips for long life, press wheels are foam filled so cannot be punctured.
