Dale Drills at CTF Meeting

Edward Dale will be attending the CTF farm meeting on Tuesday 21st June starting at 2pm in Oxfordshire.

'Having attended the meetings in the past, we have found them extremely useful for taking ideas back to our own farm', says Edward Dale. 'Having the chance to talk to like minded farmers and discuss the finer points of CTF, really helps us to focus our own operation on our farms in Lincolnshire.'

Dale Drills have sold several drills which are used in CTF systems, whilst they also use the system to control compaction on their farm. 'In order for direct drilling to work successfully, compaction needs to be addressed. CTF lets us control where compaction occurs and deal with it accordingly. Having used CTF on our own farm for over 5 years, the benefits are really starting to show. Yields are up by about 10% compared to when we were using a random traffic system and cultivated all the land.'
