Eco-Drill To Show Off Improvements at LAMMA 2012
Dale Drills will be at LAMMA '12 with a 6m Eco-Drill including new modifications.
A hopper with a sleeker design has been included to bring the drills aesthetics up to date. The curvier design also offers more strength.
The Eco-Drill now also comes fitted with an accumulator in the hydraulic circuit to the tines. Previously if a user wanted to maintain pressure to the tines, oil needed to be continuously pumped to the tines. With the accumulator included, the pressure can be built up initially to a pressure set on the pressure relief valve, then the accumulator maintains the pressure in the circuit. The overall effect of this is to reduce the workload on the tractor, further reducing horsepower requirements.
The Eco-Drill can now also be fitted with a manual/automatic bout marker system. The system, using electronics and solenoid valves, allows users to choose either manual or automatic operation of the markers. Automatic switches between left and right bout marker after each breed, whilst manual lets the user choose which marker to send out.
Markers will also be fitted with a new trip back system to prevent damage if they hit a large item.
The Eco-Drill will now also be fitted with LED lights. With the change of the standard brake and indicator lights to LEDs the company has added a beacon as standard, whilst offering customers who prefer to work late into the night working lights.
Dale Drills will be on Stand R3, Avenue E, and will also be showing the MTD (Mounted Tine Drill).
